"The Big River Coalition is committed to ensuring the future of navigation on the Mississippi River Ship Channel - one of the nation’s fundamental natural resources and a true economic powerhouse. The Coalition has often collaborated with WCI in the past, and joined WCI to help monitor the pulse of navigation legislation. We're proud to be members and have already benefited from the increased engagement. We plan to embrace and support projects along the inland waterways as the deepening of the Mississippi River Ship Channel progresses.
We appreciate the warm reception, increased services and the ability to interact with WCI members and the dedicated staff. Waterways management is a team sport and we are pleased to have the scouting reports from WCI on the state of play on legislation and appropriations. "
